CNN has again fired someone based on their social media posts.
CNN is cutting ties with documentary series “Believer” host Reza Aslan after he posted an anti-Trump message on Twitter. Aslan called the president a “piece of shit,” in a hard-hitting and critical tweet as a reaction to Trump’s response to the recent London attacks.

The behemoth news network revealed in statement to Variety on Friday that they have decided to discontinue to production of ‘“Believer with Reza Aslan,” although it had been previously renewed for a second season. Aslan expressed deep disappointment over the cancellation on Twitter, while agreeing that it would be best for him and the network to part ways.

.@rezaaslan is a brilliant person who brings more to the table than many in the chattering class. Sir, you are welcome on #AMJoy any time.

CNN fires Reza Aslan for calling Trump a piece of shit, still hasn't fired Jeffrey Lord for being a Trump piece of shit.

Regarding this Reza Aslan firing, remember white men always get a chance to fail up.

It was a great show, and @rezaaslan is a great host. If only he'd talked about grabbing women by the pussy, all would be forgiven. https://t.co/wXBYZzAES7
